The Doctor’s View On The Human Brain And Personality Development

Personality is described as a behavior when the broad classification of environmental stimulus presents itself. As you grow up, you become predictable and the most common personality traits come to fore, thereby people see that as your individuality. Let us begin describing how the human brain directly affects our personality.

Social Situations, Aggression, Fear In The Human Brain

To begin with, you have specific psychological constructions in your human brain that decide a lot about your personality. You should be able to trust doctors who say that it is your old brain working when you can achieve social competence and if you do well in social circumstances. The next thing the old brain does is tell if you are willing to take risks.

If your old brain is not functioning well, then you will have many phobias, and it is also your old brain that decides that your memory doesn’t fail you.

The Mechanism

Moving on, it sure means something in the science if you use aggressiveness as a daily coping mechanism. It also says something when you are always calm and composed, and last, of all, it depends on how well you make of your cognitive ability and so all these aspects are going to tell one of your personality. Personality is measured well based on how you react when a specific task presents itself.

Old brain or the human brain stem makes you do the basic, the daily motions of eating, breathing right, moving around, resting well, and feeding yourself, this is all the action of your old mind, and this is also part of your personality.

More On The Human Brain

If you are having problems with these essential tasks, then there is something very wrong with your personality. Unfortunately, you do not possess a great personality if that is the case, because ideally, these are background mental functions.

If you have further layers around the old brain and brain stem then you will have advanced functions. You’ll then have a better memory, you’ll be socially adept, and you’ll feel more complex emotions. The outer layer is called the cerebral cortex. This is one part of the human brain, which improves the personality.

If you have a great medulla, then your walk and balance will be excellent. The same goes for when you have a functioning reticular formation. Also, when you have a fully functional reticular formation and two well developed and fully functional amygdala, you’ll feel more aggressive. You’ll learn how to react to fear and the wisdom to not repeat a mistake comes from both the amygdala.

Reward Center Of The Human Brain

The next part to learn is the hypothalamus, which knows that it has to react to the fulfillment of needs of proper temperature, hunger pangs, thirst sensation, and basic sexual urges and needs by responding with happiness, so it is like a reward center.

Intelligence, The Human Brain And Personality

Finally, the most important things, using language, living with other beings in peace, making tools, and inventing and getting jobs are all done by the cerebral cortex of the human brain. It is this part of the brain that decides how intelligent you are. If the cerebral cortex is folded and wrinkled, it has more surface area, not like a shrunk and smooth cerebral cortex, then that is why you are more intelligent than other species. Folding of the cerebral cortex is good for us, and therefore it is called verticalization. Thus, our personality development is all science governing the human brain.
